Whales Corp — is a Swiss product company (Russian-speaking team) building stablecoin-based financial products powered by leading blockchain technologies:

• Smart contract solutions integrated with payment cards and money transfers
• USD digital checks with a simplified compliance framework
• Stablecoin wallet infrastructure

We are looking for an Accountant / Financial Manager to manage the company’s finances and ensure transparent financial operations.

Role Focus — accounting for fiat and cryptocurrency transactions, maintaining accurate reporting, monitoring balances, and ensuring financial discipline within an international fintech structure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and manage company financial transactions (fiat and crypto)
• Reconcile transactions between legal entities within the group
• Classify financial operations and maintain accurate accounting records
• Prepare regular financial and management reports
• Monitor balances, reconcile accounts, and verify data accuracy
• Work with primary financial documentation
• Coordinate with external accountants and auditors when required

Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of experience in accounting or financial managemen
• Solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
• Strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers
• Russian — fluent; English — working proficiency (reading and basic communication)

Nice to Have:

• Experience in fintech, IT, or an international company
• Understanding of cryptocurrency accounting
• Knowledge of IFRS
• Experience working with crypto wallets and blockchain transactions
• Involvement in management reporting and budgeting processes
• Understanding of compliance procedures and financial controls
• Experience in startups or distributed teams
